We are pleased to announce that the XIV International Conference on Computer Processing of Turkic Languages "TurkLang 2026" is planned to be held as part of the Ural-Siberian Conference on Biomedical Engineering, Radioelectronics and Information Technology (https://usbereit.ieeesiberia.org/).

This conference is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (https://enu.kz/).

The TurkLang 2026 conference will take place on May 13-15, 2026, on the basis of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Astana, Kazakhstan.

The conference will be held in a mixed format: in-person and online.

Directions of Conference Work:

  • Formal models and software services for Turkic languages
  • National localization of computer systems and terminology
  • Electronic corpus of the Turkic languages
  • Systems for morphological and syntactic text processing
  • Semantic word processing technologies
  • Machine translation systems and technologies
  • Speech technologies
  • Intelligence systems and technologies for learning Turkic languages
  • Linguistic ontologies and knowledge graphs for Turkic languages
  • Turkic languages ​​as the basis for the creation of new intelligence technologies and knowledge processing systems

The conference program includes plenary and sectional meetings, round tables, and an exhibition of software developments.

Conference working languages
Articles and presentation slides submitted to the conference will be accepted in English.
Oral presentations by speakers will be made in Turkic languages (Kazakh, Turkish, Uzbek, Kyrgyz, etc.)

Important Dates:
Submission of full paper texts: until March 10, 2026
Distribution of review results: March 29, 2026
Upload of the final version: April 14, 2026
Publication of the conference program: May 1, 2026
Conference dates: May 13-15, 2026

Paper Submission Procedure:
Full report texts will be accepted until March 10, 2026.
Papers are to be uploaded on the conference website: turklang.ieees.org

A conference symposium will be organized as part of the conference. Papers will undergo a two-level selection process.
The first level is a symposium.
Full-text papers accepted and presented at the conference in English will be sent for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore digital library, provided that the articles meet the IEEE Xplore volume and quality requirements. These papers are indexed by Scopus.
The second level.
The papers, not included in the symposium, but prepared at a good level and being of interest to conference participants, will be recommended for the main part of the conference and will be indexed in the RSCI.
